Perhaps you would like to use breathwork with your clients but don’t know where to start? Maybe you are already using it, but want to develop your knowledge, skills and understanding. You want to feel confident knowing when breathwork is appropriate (and when it’s not), how to do it and how to teach it effectively. You want the joy of enabling even better outcomes for your clients.

I can help.

I am dual qualified as both a specialist breathing (respiratory) physiotherapist and a counsellor. I am also a certified breathwork and pranayama teacher. Whilst working in the NHS I helped clients with breathing pattern disorders to improve the way that they breathe. A lot of these clients also struggled with anxiety or panic. I noticed how clients would experience relief from their anxiety or panic as they used the breathing techniques that I taught them. I recognised the potential of breathwork and established my own private practice, where I offer breathwork alongside counselling to help clients find greater calm and well-being.

Over time, I have refined the breathwork that I offer into several powerful yet easy-to-learn techniques that help to reduce anxiety, anger or panic. I am now sharing this approach in a two-day breathwork training that is specifically designed for Counsellors and Psychotherapists. Please click on the orange link to find out more.

Breathwork helps clients to reduce anxiety, anger or panic and increase their calm and wellbeing. It’s a powerful tool to offer as part of your counselling / psychotherapy practice.

“I am so glad I did this course as, for the first time, I feel I can properly advice clients on how to use appropriate breathing techniques to help them reduce their anxiety, stress and panic attacks. Nicola is an excellent presenter and teacher. As a respiratory physiotherapist, she is clearly very knowledgeable and yet, in this is course, she was able to tailor her vast knowledge to the most practical needs of therapists and their clients. The training was rich in both, information and practical experiential exercises. I will be, without hesitation, recommending this training to all my colleagues.”
